Do you ask your childs teacher questions regarding their development?
Do we put too much trust in our teachers?
I see teachers tell parents he/she is doing really well, and parents are over the moon but the child could be doing well compared to a previous poor standard or maybe the teacher has a low expectation level for your child. It may sound silly but you may want to ask are ‘To which level is my child performing at?”, “Is that progress or regress?”. Then monitor the situation and converse with your child so they acknowledge the interest.
