The Vivo Team’s offering is in light of the government’s statutory requirement for all schools to provide a range of services and activities outside of the traditional school day, meeting the needs of children, young people and the wider community. We therefore bolster all of our Extended School’s Initiatives on the below aims:
Aims of the Clubs
- Provide a variety of activities including art, crafts, sports, games, cookery, quizzes etc
- Encourage children to form positive relationships and to communicate effectively with other children and adults
- Develop children’s skill sets and understanding of a wide selection of activities and session forms
- Provide accessible and affordable childcare catering for all primary age children throughout the area
- Encourage self-esteem, self- awareness and self -confidence
- Encourage respect of other people’s feelings, values, beliefs and property
- Celebrate their own and others’ achievements and effort
Encourage children to take responsibility for their club by caring for one another and sharing and taking care of the equipment and play environment
- Encourage children to welcome new members and lead by example
